We pride ourselves on being intentional and purposeful about matching clients with a therapist whose skill, training, clinical area of focus, therapy style, and/or lived experience best suit your needs. Our intake process is not based on numbers or calendar availability, but a thoughtful consideration of what is bringing you to therapy and how we can be of service to you.

You are most welcome to explore our About Us page and help us know which therapist profile resonates with you. We can also make recommendations about which therapist and/or therapeutic approach would be a good fit. Our therapists are not generalist practitioners who work with ‘a bit of everything’. We all offer specific areas of clinical focus and are committed to honing our craft in service of the clients and human struggles we work with.

The phone consultation is offered by our Intake Specialist and practice owner, Elayne Smith, LMFT, so you can be assured that any recommendations made are grounded in clinical skill and a deep understanding of how each therapist works.

During the consultation call, she can answer your questions, learn more about what you are looking for support with, and help you get a solid sense of how we might work with your particular needs. If everything feels like a good match, she will be happy to help you get scheduled for an appointment.
