Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy Services at

The Center for Connection, Healing and Change

Coming soon!

The Center for Connection, Healing and Change was conceived as a space for clients to explore the connection they have with themselves and their important others. We believe in the power of secure connection and align with models that focus on attachment, family systems, trauma, emotion regulation, and somatic psychotherapy. We interweave evidence-based models and neuroscience with the timeless wisdom of the body to offer truly holistic care to our clients. We happy to share that we will be opening a Sterling office in September 2024, serving Loundoun County via in-person appointments and via telehealth.

How to find us

We look forward to being of service

The Center for Connection, Healing and Change specializes in individual, couple, and family therapy. We work with children from birth through eighteen, young adults, adults, parents, couples of all structures, and adult families. Our skilled therapists each offer different specialties/areas of clinical focus allowing us to work with individuals and relationships across the lifespan

We intentionally chose a Sterling office location in a central and easily accessible area, with plenty of free parking. We will be conveniently located off Byrd Highway/ VA 7, near to Sweetwater Tavern.

When you turn off Harry Byrd Highway onto Loundon Tech Dr, turn left onto Ridgetop Circle. Our office can be found next to the Hyatt Place hotel. Take the elevator or stairs up to the second floor and we can be found in suite 250.

Although it is a Sterling address, it is a quick drive from Dulles, Reston, Herdon, Ashburn, Leesburg, Chantilly, Oakton, Great Falls, and Wolf Trap.

Please make yourself comfortable in our family-friendly waiting room. Your therapist will come out to meet you at your appointment time. We encourage you to make the most of your time in our space by turning off technology, refraining from talking on the phone, and taking a moment to connect with yourself and/or your loved ones. You deserve to make space, slow down, and restore.

Office

Beautiful Space

Designed for the needs of our clients

Conveniently located in a quiet building, the office feels private, secure, and peaceful. Each office has several large windows looking out at the trees, creating a light, airy, and contemplative space.

We intentionally designed each office space to meet the needs of our clients; infants, toddlers, children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups. Each office was created to feel relevant and comfortable for the clients who spend time there.

We have play therapy and expressive arts therapy spaces for children and teens. Designed to be welcoming to younger people, resources are stored lower to the floor, with cushions and beanbags for sitting on the floor during sessions. Our family rooms are bright and colorful, offering a wide variety of creative and expressive mediums.

We also have comfortable beautifully decorated offices designed for our adult clients. Each couples therapy office includes a variety of seating options that allow you to turn and face one another during moments of connection. We have curated modern furnishings and tranquil art in all our adult spaces so your time in our office feels like a sanctuary for your sacred work.

Our group space is set up for workshops, group therapy, yoga, meditation, somatic work, and mindfulness. Designed to feel like a neutral space, it feels cozy, uncluttered, and serene so you can focus on body, mind, and spirit.
